KitchenCook is an independent recipe site for people who actually cook at home. Every recipe here has been made in a real domestic kitchen — often several times — before it goes online.
Why we started
Recipe sites often lose the plot: too many photos, too much backstory, not enough clear cooking. We wanted a place that respects your time — one that tells you what to buy, what to do, and what to watch out for, and then gets out of your way.
How we test
Every recipe is tested at home before it's published. We follow the exact ingredient amounts and timings we ask you to follow. If a step is fiddly, we say so. If a recipe rewards a little extra effort, we explain what and why.
Editorial standards
KitchenCook is written and edited independently. We don't accept payment for recipe placement, and we don't publish sponsored content dressed up as an editorial recipe. If we ever add advertising, it will be clearly marked and served through reputable ad networks that follow industry policies for user privacy and content standards.
